Hi, I’m Lianchao LAN, a multifaceted storyteller with a passion for health, environment, and technology. For seven years, I reported for Agence France-Presse and leading Chinese media outlets, covering stories from the frontlines of the COVID-19 outbreak to internal migration and economic development.

My journey has taken me through Europe for studies in social and health policy as well as sustainable development, and to Manila with the Asian Development Bank, where I explored how climate change intersects with social policies.

I work with data, research, and compelling multimedia narratives as my tools — driven by the belief that good stories can spark meaningful change.
